Education: Title 24 2013 Part-6 Non-Residential Outdoor/Indoor Lighting Compliance

Phillip Sheckler will be reviewing the required documentation and procedures of California Title 24 2013 Part 6 code compliance forms for indoor and outdoor lighting systems for non-residential facilities.  This course is an overview for the Acceptance Testing Documentation for code compliance with California Title 24 Part 6 Lighting Systems.  The subject matter reviews the scope and requirements of the compliance forms required for both the Lighting Control Acceptance Test Technician and local enforcement.  The objective is to understand the compliance documentation requirements of the California Title 24 Part-6 2013 for both indoor and outdoor non-residential lighting systems from the perspective of the AHJ.

About the Presenter: Mr. Sheckler is currently the President of Astro Building Service a General A, B, an Electrical contracting firm based in El Cajon, CA.  He is one of the original developers of the California Advanced Lighting Controls Training Program (CALCTP) and has been instructing Title 24 non-residential Lighting courses for SDG&E and Cuyamaca Community College for the last 3 years.  Mr. Sheckler was selected as a member of the California State Senate Select Committee on Energy Efficiency and has testified as an expert witness on energy Efficiency to California State Assembly. He is a graduate of San Diego State and attended a post graduate program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT.)  As for his professional experience, Mr. Sheckler has over 35 years in the construction industry on projects worldwide.
